Is your favicon logo hiding and not showing up after you upload a new one to your server?

Yeah, I had the same problem and couldn’t for the life of me figure out how to fix it. I wanted to make sure that the favicon icon and the code I put in the header of the sites worked, but it just wouldn’t show up in Firefox no matter how much cache and temporary files I deleted. How do you fix this? I stumbled across a solution:

1. Go to your browser and load the icon, type in your http://yoursite.com/favicon.ico  or where ever you uploaded your icon logo. This should load up the favicon.ico into your cache or whatever.
2. Quit Firefox. And restart it.
3. Bam! It should start popping up now. Ain’t that crazy
